When people come to me, they often want relief from what they’re feeling right now — the anxiety that keeps returning, the heaviness in their chest, the tension in their relationships, the sadness they can’t explain, or the quiet sense that they’ve lost themselves.
These experiences are real, and they deserve attention. But over the years, I’ve learned that the symptoms we feel today almost always point to something deeper underneath.
This is why I talk so much about healing the roots.
Our emotional and spiritual roots are shaped by many experiences — how we were raised, the ways we learned to survive, the relationships we formed early in life, the environments we grew up in, the wounds our parents carried, the stories passed down through our lineage, and even moments we don’t consciously remember but our bodies do.
All of these layers form the foundation from which we experience life.
When those roots hold pain, fear, or unresolved history, they show up in adulthood through patterns we can’t break, reactions we don’t understand, or feelings that seem bigger than the moment we’re in.
You may feel overwhelmed and unsure why. You may notice the same relationship challenges appearing again and again. You may sense a disconnection from yourself, or a pressure in your spirit that feels like you’re carrying more than your share.
These branches of your life — the visible parts — grow according to whatever the roots are holding.
This is why healing only the surface never feels like enough. You might get temporary relief, but nothing truly changes until the deeper layers are understood, tended to, and softened.
My work blends modern psychodynamic therapy with ancestral medicine because both are needed. The therapeutic side helps us explore how your past has shaped the present — how certain beliefs formed, how emotional patterns developed, and how your nervous system learned to protect you.
As we talk and explore these layers, clarity begins to rise. People often tell me they finally understand themselves in a way that makes their reactions make sense rather than feel like flaws.
The ancestral side of my work helps release what the mind alone cannot touch. This is where limpias, prayer, energy work, and ritual come in — practices meant to bring the body and spirit back into balance, and to honor the parts of your lineage that were interrupted, silenced, or shamed.
Many people carry emotional and spiritual weight that did not begin with them. When we work at this level, something begins to loosen from the inside. People feel lighter, steadier, more connected to their intuition and their sense of self.
I often think of one woman from my workshops. She came to me believing she had no voice, no room to grow, and no right to dream beyond the role she thought she had to fill.
As we spent time together, she began to understand that her beliefs were rooted in generational scarcity, unspoken expectations, and a painful relationship with her father. When she finally reached a place of compassion — not to excuse what happened, but to free herself from the weight she had carried — something shifted inside her.
Soon she was making choices that honored her. She even launched her own small business, something she once believed was completely out of reach. Her children saw her rise. Her home began to reflect the healing inside her. And all of it began at the roots.
Healing the roots doesn’t mean reliving every painful experience or forcing yourself into discomfort. It means gently understanding your story, recognizing what shaped you, and slowly creating space for new possibilities. It is a softening, not a breaking. It is a remembering, not a punishment.
And you never do it alone. I walk with you through each layer, at your pace, with respect for your readiness.
What I love most about this work is that the changes inside you ripple outward. The way you relate to others begins to shift. You speak with more clarity and intention. You start trusting yourself in small ways that grow into bigger decisions.
The heaviness you once carried becomes easier to release. Life doesn’t feel like constant survival anymore. There is more peace, more confidence, more room to breathe and make choices based on who you truly are.
And perhaps most beautifully, your healing touches the people you love. Children feel it. Relationships soften. Patterns shift across generations. When one person heals a root, the branches of the whole family begin to grow differently.
If you feel something inside you whispering that it’s time to understand yourself more deeply or to finally release what you’ve been carrying, trust that. That whisper is the beginning.
You don’t have to know every detail of what needs healing. You just need to take the first step.
And when you do, I am here — ready to walk this path with you.
