People often ask me what makes my work different — especially when they hear that I blend psychotherapy with ancestral medicine. Some come in expecting something very clinical, like traditional therapy. Others expect only spiritual work, like a limpia.
What they experience is something in between, something more whole, something that meets the person as a complete human being with a mind, a body, a spirit, and a story.
The truth is, my work was born from my own healing. I didn’t set out to create a particular “method.” I simply followed what helped me survive grief, anxiety, and the emotional weight of losing people I loved.
I followed the medicine I learned from my grandmother — the prayers, the limpias, the tenderness. And I followed what modern psychotherapies taught me about the way emotions, relationships, and the subconscious shape our lives.
My sessions naturally became a weaving of both worlds, because that was the only way I knew how to guide someone toward real, lasting change.
Traditional therapy is powerful, and I respect it deeply. It offers clarity, understanding, and emotional insight. But there were moments in my own journey when talking alone was not enough.
My body carried stories I didn’t have language for. My spirit held grief that couldn’t be explained. And I found that ancestral medicine reached the places that words could not.
On the other hand, a limpia can bring quick relief and lightness — a cleansing of energy that many people desperately need. But if we only cleanse the surface, the deeper emotional patterns don’t shift. People feel better, but they return to the same cycles.
My work exists in the space between these two limitations. It honors the emotional and psychological roots of what you’re experiencing while also tending to the spiritual and energetic layers that shape your daily life.
I don’t separate these parts because in real life they are not separate.
When someone comes to me, I begin by listening — not just to what they’re saying, but to the feeling behind their words. I want to understand what they hope to change, what they’ve been carrying, and how their personal and family history has shaped the patterns showing up today.
This part resembles therapy in the sense that we explore your story, your emotions, and the beliefs that formed in childhood or through trauma.
But from there, the work expands. If I sense emotional heaviness, I may guide you through a grounding practice to help your body release tension.
If I sense that the wound is tied to lineage, we may talk about the stories you inherited from generations before you. Or if I sense that your spirit feels disconnected, I may offer a limpia or a ritual to bring you back to center.
Everything is guided by what you need, not by a formula.
In my sessions, it’s common for a person to understand something deeply about themselves — maybe a belief that has been shaping their relationships, or an old wound they didn’t realize was influencing their decisions — and then immediately experience a release through the spiritual or energetic work we do afterward.
That combination creates transformation that is felt, not just understood.
Another difference is the pace. I never rush healing. You won’t come to me and feel pressured to commit to anything. I offer two complimentary sessions because I want you to understand your own emotional landscape and the kind of support that could help — without obligation.
Healing must happen on your time, not mine.
People often tell me that my space feels different. It doesn’t feel clinical or intimidating. It doesn’t feel mystical in a way that is confusing or inaccessible. It feels like being held in a place where all parts of you — the logical, the emotional, the spiritual, the cultural — are welcome and understood.
What makes my sessions unique is not the combination of tools I use, but the intention behind them.
My goal is not to “fix” you, but to help you reconnect with who you already are beneath the layers of survival, pain, and inherited beliefs.
I am simply walking beside you as you remember yourself.
If you’ve been searching for a kind of healing that honors your story, your roots, and your whole being, I invite you to reach out.
The door is open, and I’m here when you’re ready.
