When people first come to see me, they often expect a massage that feels nice and relaxing—soft music, dim lights, maybe a little temporary relief from tension.
And yes, it does feel relaxing. But body work is so much more than that.
The work I do is designed to help your nervous system reset, not just your muscles. Because if your nervous system is stuck in survival mode—constantly bracing, guarding, or tightening—no amount of pressure will create lasting change.

People are often surprised when I use very gentle pressure—especially during myofascial release or craniosacral therapy.
It may look like I’m barely doing anything, but those still moments are when the most powerful shifts happen.
The fascia, a thin web of connective tissue throughout your entire body, responds best to patience and presence—not force.
When I place my hands on a client’s back or shoulder and wait, I can feel the tissue begin to unwind. Sometimes it takes a few moments; sometimes longer. But eventually, the body lets go of what it’s been holding.
It’s not about “working harder.”
It’s about helping the body feel safe enough to release.

You can’t force a nervous system into calm—it has to be invited.
