La Yerberia Botanicals
Rebecca
Rebecca Garza is a practicing herbalist and herbal educator who helps people connect with healing plants. Drawing on her background in environmental biology, she uses her understanding of natural systems and patterns to clarify the actions of herbs and the benefits of healing plants. In 2009 she founded La Yerberia Botanicals, layerberia.com, creating a line of effective healing formulas using whole herbs and all organic and/or wild-crafted ingredients.
Rebecca works with individuals and groups as well as health care professionals and business owners. She offers herbal consultations for individuals who seek to use plants on their healing journey and teaches small-group workshops on how to make herbal salves and lotions. She collaborates with health practitioners and spas to create custom herbal formulations and private label products. Since 2019 she is an approved provider for the national certification board (NCBTMB) for licensed massage therapists offering a 6-CEU course called Herbalism for Self-Care.
